Making ADRs not knowing total party

Okay, I have a dilemna. We're headed to WDW in June . It will be me and DD(5), BUT my bestfriend lives in Bradenton and will be joining us SOME of the time. She won't know what days she can get off work until like a week before. So what do I do?

Should I make the ADRs for 2 and add 1? I don't think that would work b/c they might schedule us for a 2 top and not have a 4 top for us if she comes.

Should I make the ADRs for 3, and if she doesn't come, oh well? I would feel bad that a family of 4 lost an ADR b/c she couldn't get off work that day.

Now our ADRs aren't anything big. No CRT or anything like that. We have Akarshus (I never spell it right), CP, Liberty Tree Tavern, and 50s Prime Time. That's it! Nothing exciting. Well we DOO have Le Cellier BUT that is my Birthday dinner so she'll be there that day <- Thats me.. my birthday, I'll get my way! LOL

So anyway.. what should I do? HELP PLEASE! I know ADRs open at 120 days now, but I'm hoping that only cool people like us on the DIS know this and there are still openings when I call next week. Thanks ya'll!!!

Make your ADRs for three people for each meal.
You can change whichever ones necessary either in advance or when you get to the restaurant.

I agree that I would make it for one more, and then call to change it if you have to. Easier to change down then up. I did that for DDs b-day breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, not sure yet if we are taking a friend or not, but since it is not pre-paid like CRT, it is not big deal.

I too would make your ADRs for three rather than two. BTW - unless something has changed ADRs can be made at 180 days not 120. And you may want to make Arskurs (which I can't spell either- LOL) sooner rather than later, that one can be more difficult to get.
