So...I found out recently that my 90 +10 for September is going to be while I am at WDW in June. Does anyone find it easier to deal with the concierge or on the phone?

Heck...has anyone else done this before?:confused3

Well, for one thing the call will be on Disney's dime, not yours! :rotfl2:

I'd get up at 6am, head to a CS or CL lounge (wherever you're staying) get plenty of coffee and breakfast pastries and settle in for the dreaded 7am call.

The only bonus is that you can watch Stacy on your TV :rotfl:

I would think that your call would go quicker being there, at least I hope it would be.

Good luck! It's a fun situation to be in! :goodvibes

Thanks for the advice! It is the only time I will ever be in this situation...I never thought I would be.

Wow, there's no better way to get up early and make your ADR's!

Yeah...let's hope I can actually get my lazy butt up that early.

Another snafu might be EMH at DHS for SWW....we are going to be there at 8am so we can actually get decent FP for the day. I think I am going to be getting a lot of stares while I am waiting in line making food reservations and making notes!

The phone will put you in the que and you may have to wait, I've done this before trying to make ADR's for Thanksgiving while I was on an earlier trip. The "on site" dining line doesn't seem to get you in any faster. Better to jump into something presentable and go to the guest service/front desk/concierge (if you are on CL) right at 7am and get them done.

I did this once, but I made arrangements with the front desk the day before, checked with someone who would be on duty at 7am the next day so they would know what I wanted and would be ready to book and not chit-chat. They don't often realize that the most sought after locations and times for a holiday period book quickly since they don't book dining during the first open hours like we do! They can book it right on their computers, no holds on the phone.

This happened to us when we were on our anniversary trip in April 2007, before an October 2007 trip. We called from our own cell phone and had no issue. It was fun, because we knew we'd be back in a short time.

OMG, thank you for posting this. This will happen to us during our next trip. We are due to call on May 15th and we will be at WDW. I was wondering if I can just use the room phone and not incurr the cost. The idea of being on hold for 2 hours on the cell phone is not very good. We've also had to call MS and reserve a room for another trip while on vacation too.
