Making ADRs at 180+10 when your trip is longer than 10 days?

For some reason, I cannot grasp how to handle this situation....I know that since my last trip, Disney has changed its ADR policy to 180+10, which for our Dec. 19 check-in, is June 22nd. What I cannot figure out is what to do about the days we are there PAST the 10 days they allow, since we are taking a 3 1/3 week trip. Do I then call June 23rd for the 11th day of our trip, and so on? I am confused! Does anyone have info on how to do this? Thanks! Also, for character dining, is it something I book on the 180+10 day, or call on the 180th day exactly?

Thank you and so sorry if this has been asked a million times already....for some reason the search is not going through when I search for info.

Jeanette, hi there! I made ADR's for the very first time recently and was not sure what to do either as we booked 2 ten day ressies. When I called they took all 20 of my ADR's in one phone call and I got all the exact times I wanted except for two and they were just ten minutes off from my requested times.

Good luck and I hope you get as nice a CM as I did.

We will be able to make our ADRs on Saturday. When I emailed our requests to our TA, she said it would not be a problem to book the 11th day ADR. Hopefully, you will get a nice CM who will be flexible with you.

i only booked a 9 day trip for sept, but i will say i was able to make all the adrs we wanted ahead of 180 days, my sugestion would be to call and try to make them now the worst they could do is not accept them yet

Since we are traveling during the holidays, I am extra concerned about those ADRs :teeth: Okay, so now I am a little confused....are people able to get their ADRs prior to the 180 day mark? I thought we had to wait until that day arrived (June 22nd for us, for a Dec. 19 check-in). Am I understanding that some of you are able to book ADRs for more than the 10 days if your trip is longer in length, even on the 180 day mark? That would make things easier, for sure, but is that how it is working?

Thanks!
Jeanette

i can only relate what i was able to do i only have a 9 day trip booked, the only thing i was asked when i called to make them was either a hotel reservation # or phone #, i always gave the phone #, i made our adrs aprox. march 9,10,11, our trip dates are sept9-17 which is more than 180 days,i dont know if its common to be able to do so, i just know we were able to, i figuire the worst you could do is try, hope it helps
