Making ADR Thread - hold times, IT vents, and general whine!

So far an hour & 3 minutes! The kids do not know about the trip yet and now they are going to wake up & hear me making ADR's soon! Ugh!

Darn it, Chef Mickey's & Le Cellier!

Finito! I got everything but had to do some changing for LeCellier (nothing major). I also got Crystal Palace & Tusker House breakfasts but not at times I wanted (I wanted them closer to 8a) but I took it.

The woman helping me so very nice!

I just called from my cell phone...a CM picked up in 3 minutes but explained, unintelligibly, about needing to be transferred and a long wait. Boy am I glad I didn't hang up my regular phone. No one has answered and hold time has been 62 minutes. ARGH!

We wanted Chef Mickey's on our arrival night, but the earliest time was 9:15pm! Not gonna work! I made an ADR for 'Ohana insted but will keep trying for CM.

What day did you make your CP? I got 8:05 with no problem on the 19th. Check for cancellations periodically. It's always worked for me in the past.

On hold 59 minutes and nothing!! I'm trying to make these reservations BEFORE I pick my son up for church (he stayed at a friends house last night) because it's a SURPRISE TRIP!! OMG!!!!

I got 'Ohana at 5:00 on the 13th. It sounded like you could have your pick of times on that day.

I just finished! It took 1 hour 10 minutes from start to finish. I got everything I wanted within 30 minutes of the times except for one.

I could not get the Luau for our arrival night! I thought people didn't really like the Luau? All is well, I booked it for Tuesday instead!

An hour and 25 minutes and I'm done.
7 characters meals (Chef Mickey, Princess Storybook, etc.) and AAA Storybook. I got all within 30 minutes of my requested time (about half at the exact time.)

I got done after 1 hr 25 minutes too! Got my three requests but a dinner at Boma was the only one I really would be so sad about.

I am done. Called at exactly 7am and was on hold 47 min. I got most everything I wanted. Didn't get Le Cellier but will do the habatchi place in Japan instead. I was pumped to get the Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose for the 18th. I heard prior to calling that they were all booked for the week. We have to have dinner at 4:25 but we will plan accordingly. YEAH

Total call time was 1 hr 32 minutes. Crazy! I did get everything I wanted, including LeCellier for lunch on the day I wanted! Our party of 5 will be seated at two tables but I'm ok with that. Thankfully, I had our Chef Mickey's ADR's booked at 180 days. Woo hoo!

woo-hoo! 1 hr 15 min. on hold and they picked up. Got everything I wanted days and times so that worked out well. Glad that is over...

Got all mine too! Took 1 hour 32 minutes total; but that was making 18 ADRs since we are on the Deluxe DDP. (Already had Chef Mickey's and CRT lunch)

No problems at all with Le Cellier, got in within 20 minutes of our preferred time. Really, all mine are exactly when I wanted it or within 30 minutes!

Good luck to all still waiting!! The wait was definitely worth it!

I am soooooooo frustrated. I finally got through, it's been an hour & 40 min on hold and then they tell me I am stuck between the old system & the new system on my dates because of a glitch in the system. I was only able to make ADR's for the 1st & 2nd day of our trip in June. Now I have to call back on Tues! My kids are not going to be very excited about eating at Chef Mickey's at 8:50 pm (the one thing I COULD reserve for our first day). I did book CM for breakfast on Tues (our 2nd day) as a back up to getting in at CM, but I REALLY did not want to book any breakfast ADR's. We are not big breakfast eaters and I didn't want to waste so much early time in the parks sitting in a restaurant. Maybe when I call Tue, they'll have better news for me. Trying to think happy thoughts!!

Called at 4:00am PST sharp!

After being on hold for 80 minutes and another 20 minutes making the actual reservations, I got everything I wanted (except for Finding Nemo lunch package at the Tusker House) within 30 minutes of the time I was hoping for...

I'm going back to bed now!

I accidentally forgot to set my alarm and woke up at 8:25! I am really not feeling good with a sore throat, so I think that could be it.

On hold since 8:25 for 40 minutes.

I bet I'll have to pass on Le Cellier and Fantasmic dining this trip as a result. Hopefully not.

Until then, I made some strong coffee and I'm in for the long haul with the queue!

Update: got an answer and then got transfered!!! I selected the option of May twenty-something to June 23rd in the main menu, so I'm not sure why this happened.

Oh well, coffee's almost done. I busted out the good stuff just for today.
