making adr at resort room

I just got home 11/11. I had the worst time getting through to disney dining calling from my room. I called 3X to either cancel or modify a reservation. The wait time quoted was always 12 minutes or longer. I could have walked over to the front desk and back before someone picked up. I never wait this long when I call from home. What's wrong with their system when you are on property?
