Making a special request when booking at BLT

We are currently booked at our home resort, SSR, for a vacation in late May thru early June of 2013. At the seven month window, I am going to try for BLT. If there is a standard view room available, where should I request that view be? If there is a lake view available, where should I request that view be? We were fortunate enought to get BWV this past year (same time frame). We booked a preferred view and I requested a view of the village green. When we checked in and checked out the view, I almost died! We were on the fifth floor and could see the actual Boardwalk, the Epcot ball, Crescent Lake, the BCR and the YCR. It was awesome! So, what are your thoughts on room requests at BLT?

I love BLT. We have stayed both LV and SV. Our LV rooms were on the outside, northern end, closest to MK (even #'d room). We had a partial view of MK and could see the fireworks from our balcony.

The times we had SV, we faced the pool, 2nd and 3rd floor, and really didn't mind those views either.

In 2013, there will be more SV rooms--rooms that were once MK view on the lower floors that were reclassified. I can only imagine that those will be highly requested.

IMO, there are no bad views at BLT..
