Making a reservation

I'm trying to make some reservations on line and only get a form to fill out. It states it will notify us in three days if we got it. Is this how it works as far as making reservations on line? If so I think I'll wait until tomorrow and call.

yup. i think it's better to just call MS because someone live tells you right away if you are waitlisted or if they can confirm your ressie right away.

It's really not "online reservations". It's "requesting a reservation by e-mail".

Presently, "online" reservations consist of an email read by someone at MS when they have the time. If you are reserving anything "time sensitive", it might be best just to call MS to make the reservation. If time is not a pressing issue, the email will work fine and you will get a response by email too.

If you have already sent the email request, I'd be sure you don't end up with 2 reservations by calling MS for the same reservation.

DVC has been telling us for years now that they are working towards a true online reservation system, but we still have a long time to go at this point.

Isn't that crazy? If 3 days is truly their SLA around internet requests, you have 3 days worth of people calling before you making reservations!!! I was going to try that one time and when I saw that, I was with you!!! Called MS the next day.
