Making a new 2005 reservation question

I am new to DVC. We came home for our first trip to SSR in Dec, and are ready to go back!!

Our "use year" is April, but if we want to go back next Dec. can we call and make reservations in Jan since it's the 11 month mark? Even though we used all our 2004 points up?

Do we have to wait until April 2005 when we get our 2005 points before we can make the reservations? If we want to borrow from 2006, are we able to do it when we make our reservations in January?

Your stay is in your 2005 use year, so your April 2005 points would be considered "current year" for that stay. You can make the reservation at 11 months, you could even borrow 2006 points for it.

We just took our first "DVC" trip in Dec, too. DH has been saying all day, "Do we have to wait until April to go back?" We are SOOO ready!!!

So if we want to go Dec 3-9th, do we call on Jan 3, or 9th?

If you want to make day-by-day ressies, you can START calling on Dec 4th (it goes 11 months from check-OUT. Just tell MS you are going to be linking ressies, so don't send out a confirmation yet).

If you are making the ressie all at once, call on Jan 10th (unless that is a weekend day, in which case you will have to wait until Mon.)
