I'm CRAVING it! How bizarre, I know....spring is approaching ( humor me, I'm il Illinois) heavy, comfort foods not the thing right now...but tonight we are having turkey, stuffing, corn pudding, broccoli, cranberries and grands biscuts! Added bonus? After I got it all going today I realized, leftovers for the weekend!:cool1:
So, not sure why, but we're having Thanksgiving tonight!

I think Thanksgiving food is good anytime! Nothing wrong with that. :thumbsup2 Enjoy your meal tonight.

I love turkey & will eat it anytime! (except maybe summer, LOL) Sounds good to me & I wish I was eating at your house!

I don't like turkey, but I will have an out of season Christmas dinner of standing rib roast, mashed potatoes and peas whenever I crave it, too.

I LOVE turkey and make at least every other month! Especially in the summer because I stick it on the grill! YUM! I have one planned for this weekend actually, well, just a breast this weekend. :thumbsup2

Sounds wonderful! Shhh, don't tell my DH, I have a turkey in the freezer and he keeps asking me when I'm going to make it! I just haven't gotten around to it!
Enjoy!

corn pudding? Tell me more! popcorn::

It's SOOOOO easy! (and not too expensive)
ingredients:
1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix
1 can cream corn
1 can corn niblets/ drained
2 eggs ( unbeated...just mix them well)
8 oz sour cream
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 stick butter /melted/

Mix it all together, spray a casserole dish with non-stick spray, pour mix into casserole, cook on 350 for 30-35 minute...done!

The sad part is the calories, along with stuffing :rolleyes1, but I love it!

I'm so jealous! I've been craving Thanksgiving since Thanksgiving!

sorry 'bout de-railing the diet, maybe corn pudding falls under vegetable? And dairy..it has calcium!:thumbsup2

vettechick...CONGRATS on chicklette #2! You should have a turkey dinner...Momma gets what Momma wants!

I make one of these about every other month too. The only difference is my mini Thanksgivings involve the Purdue roast-shaped Breast meat for about $10 instead of the whole thing. I like it because it's low in cost, low in calories and the leftovers are perfect for Turkey Salad without all the work of getting it off the bone.:thumbsup2
