Making a countdown calendar

For the past 4 years, I've always used the Mickey Heads from Home Depot to making our Countdown calendar, but now they no longer carry them!!! I don't have a Cricut machine to make my own, so now I'm not sure how to make our calendar?!? What have some of you done in the past? Would love to find and see some cute/new creative ideas for one! I'm kind of stuck!!

Hi on a previous trip we used a countdown calendar - a paper chain with the days numbered down to 0 days to disney. Each day a chain was ripped off.

We are planning on making this as part of our son's surprise on Christmas Morning - we are putting all things Disney in a box with a countdown chain and a card from Mickey telling him about our trip to WDW at Easter.

I think I will follow this too. I have seen a ton of great ideas on Pinterest. We didn't do one last year because my so was too young.

We are doing the same thing for christmas. Have you done your letter yet? Our twins are 4 and I would love to see how you did it!
