Making a Calendar: Your thoughts

I have a couple of months done:

I am going to vary the background color and make a calendar of my fav shots. Letting the rest of the family get into my head and my passion.

I am thinking about giving them to my family as a late X-mas gift. (I will be at disney until dec 23 and of course I will want to add some new disney pictures)

What do you think?

I am doing them in photoshop and just uploading them to my smugmug account.

I've been doing homemade calendars for about 10 years. Started with scissors, scrapbooking skills, and a copy center (Kinkos!). Two years ago, I bought a digital camera and Photoshop Elements and have been doing them digitally ever since. I love the 2 designs you have shown us. Very striking images and color choices. I like the white borders and overlay. I have found that when you carry some kind of theme or design technique through the whole year you tell a nice even story. You definately have an eye for layout. Show us some more when you get them finished.
