For those who have wed in the FL heat, what kind of makeup did you wear for your wedding ceremony?
I'm trying to figure out which kind of makeup to get for my outside ceremony in the FL heat.

What about those who are planning on having an outside ceremony, which kind have you decided on?

I want to look beautiful, but also don't want raccoon eyes before the ceremony is finished. :lmao:

I ran this thread about a week ago & it was very helpful:

I had Ana from Beaute Speciale do my makeup and she used all MAC products except for the finishing spray (it came from a company that sells products to Broadway productions... she said that if it keeps makeup from running off under those stage lights it will work in the Florida weather). She gave me extra makeup for touch-ups but the night flew by and I never had a chance to use it. From looking at the pictures it looks like the MAC makeup stayed in place all day.

Well, the heat shouldn't be as bad late in October. I finally got tired of stressing about it for my August wedding, and broke down and booked Ana. Between hair and makeup, I decided not to risk the do it yourself. I was there last July and I know that I didn't even bother putting makeup on because you sweat it off so fast. Seems like most of the professionals that Disney recommends used MAC though.

I used Beaute Speciale too and it was 115.00 for hair and makeup. It was horribly hot and my makeup didnt run at all.

Here is the price list I was sent. It was back in January though so it might have changed since then but it gives you an idea :)

Pricing List

Hair Services:
$65 Hair
$50 Short Hair and for children under 12 years old

Make Up Services:
$50 Make Up
$75 for Airbrush Make-up.
$30 Eyes Only
$10 For Pair of Eye Lashes

The only makeup I ever use is MAC makeup. All of their products seem to stay put--even without all of the other gunk and spray. I won't put any other product on my face.

Thank you so much. Hmm, it may be worth $50 to let someone play with my face. :rotfl:

That is what I have decided too. I think it is worth it to not have to worry about it myself. I only use bare minerals and while it is great make up, I know it is not going to hold up all day. So, I am going with Ana also.

You won't regret using her. Make sure and take pics of the look you want. She is very good at looking at a pic and doing just that. I could barely feel my makeup it was light but stayed on all day and evening.
