Makeup brand for tween girl?

My daughter is also 11 and I plan to take her to the Clinique counter in Macys or to the Mac counter. If i tell her not to wear certain colors because they do not look right on her she won't listen to me. If one of the professionals tell her what the appropriate colors are for her and how to apply the makeup she will definetely take their advice. I am not too happy with her wanting to wear makeup at such a young age but if she must at least I dont want her walking around like a clown.

I think going to the department stores counters are the best bet. They learn proper application and color choices for their age and skin tone.

Right now I buy makeup for my 8 1/2 year old for Christmas from Target in those kits. It's only for fun around the house and she's not allowed to wear outside. She is allowed to wear a light pink shade lip gloss for school. Although right now she's wearing lip protection from dry lips like chapstick. Tis the season.

Your're nice. lol My daughter is 11 also and she is not allowed to wear make up at all. I told her in a few years she can start wearing light makeup. Since you are letting her wear make at 11, I would suggest taking her to a make up counter at Macy's or a department store. They normally can suggest something that will work with her skin.
