Make your own pasta at POR

We are first timers staying at the POR this coming March and are on the basic DDP. I have read somewhere in this fabulous community that the food court at POR has a pasta bar.

My DS LOVES pasta - would eat it everyday, three times a day, if we let him. As he is 9, would he be able to get the pasta bar using a child's CS credit?

I don't know if they have a child's CS for it, but the pasta is great! We stayed there last January and ate the pasta a couple of times it was so good. It was very filling that we could have almost shared it between two adults. The line is long for it though.
You pick what type of pasta you want, what type of sauce you want, and any add ons, like meat or veggies or herbs or such. Then they put it all together and cook it in front of you. It was awesome! We might go there again even though we will be at another resort next week.

This was one of our favorite "discoveries" at POR on our last trip! The portions are large...DD and I shared once and we were both overstuffed! One day DS was sick (we were confined to the hotel all day) and I had one at lunch and ate the 2nd half of it for dinner that night! I love pasta and I thought it was great how you could mix and match the toppings to get just what you wanted!

Sorry, no one in our party qualified as a child, so I can't answer that...but there were always plenty of children in the line. Wish I had paid attention to see if their portion size was different in any way.
