Has anyone made their own Passports for EPCOT as opposed to spending 10.00 per passport (in my case that would be $30.00)? What did you do? Do you have any pictures to share? Any info would be appreciated!

I thought I had seen some on here at some point.. But I can't seem to find them now.. anyway you might want to email Pat... she is on the boards and she is WONDERFUL!! And has the cutest designs.. tell her what you are looking for and I am sure she can come up with something for you!

Goodluck!!

Jolee makes a "By You" passport that has about 6 pages in it. They run in the neighborhood of $3 each. Here's a link to it on the Joann.com website but I understand that it can also be found in Walmart's scrapbook section:

If you're not "crafty" or just don't have the time, this might be a less costly alternative to buying the passport kit at WDW. Although, the passport kit does contain stickers and an EPCOT button in addition to the passport.

I was also able to find an old thread showing some scrapbook-type passports that another DISer made:

And you might want to try posting your question on the Creative Community Board. There are a lot of very artistic DISers on that forum who will be able help you put together your own.

I am not sure this will help, but I had each country stamp the last two pages of my autograph book and used that as a passport. It is just an idea.

Cost is about $10. The children can visit the various countries in the World Showcase and have their "passport" stamped by the CMs there. They can also ask the CMs (who are native to the country represented) to autograph the page and write something in their native tongue. It makes for a very cute souvenir and can help take the boredom out of visiting EPCOT for younger kids.

Yes, I had them stamp in my autograph book too. I was using a 5x7 spiral scrapbook album that I bought from Michaels craft store and I just had a page in the back for each of the countries.

Ha. You had my attention. Since the current wait for US passports
is 12-16 weeks, I thought you had a joke solution. Wish this one
would work for Europe, not the wonderful European sampler of EPCOT>
