Make your own light saber?

Hi Everyone,
We will be visiting Walt Disney World in December . My boys are really into the Star Wars movies right now. I heard there is a place to "make your own light saber", possibly in Downtown Disney? Is there such a place? Does anyone know roughly the cost to make one? Thanks for any information!

Yes it'sin once upon a toy. I can't remember how much it cost but my DS loved doing it. You also get to choose a pin badge as well.

There is also a place in DHS- right outside of the Star Wars ride. My DS really enjoyed making his and it was only $19.99!

It was 20.00 when DS made his at Once Upon A Toy in DD. That was in July.

My son't actually attacking dh with the "lifesaver" he made at DTD last week. His favorite is that he got to choose either a Jedi or a Sith (sp?) pin to go with it. I had read somewhere that you don't get the pin a HS. I'm not sure whether or not that is true.

Our daughter made her lightsaber in MGM (Hollywood Studios now, old habits die hard) at the "Tatooine Traders" store at the Star Tours attraction. You can make a single or double-bladed saber. The single one runs about $19.00 and the double was $22.95. She chose the second one, and we had to unscrew it to fit it in the suitcase. Also, she received a Jedi pin.

ETA: It is a bit of a slow process so you could be waiting for a bit before your son has a chance to make his lightsaber. We waited behind two families and waited about 15 or 20 minutes for our turn.
