Make your own Disney shirts...

I read on another thread yesterday about making your own Disney t-shirts - what a great budget saving idea! The problem is, I'm not too crafty, and, I'm having trouble googling "make your own Disney shirt".

So, what shirts have you made. I'd love to hear how (we're talking detailed steps ). Photos would be great, too!

I've made several shirts for our past 2 trips with help from the wonderful Disers on the Creative DISign Board. You look through the threads at all the designs they have made - you can also go to their personal web pages to look for designs. Then, you post a request to have it personalized the way you want it. They usually respond right away. You save the picture to your computer. You buy your shirts and transfer paper - I get mine from AC Moore or Michael's craft stores. You print out the picture on the transfer paper right on your printer and follow the paper's directions for ironing it onto the shirts. I use the Paint program to open the picture and reverse it to print it out on the shirts. It's really easy!
