Make-Up Trial??

Hi Ladies!

I was wondering who did and who did not do a trial of their make-up before the big day? 2 of my BM's are hairdressers who also have MAC certifications. I am going to use Ana with Beaute Speciale the day of, so I am not sure how much I really need a trial? With 2 other MAC pros around, I really think it would be ok to forgo it... but do I take the chance...

I have an E-Pic session booked for 3/30 in the Wrold Showcase so I could have Ana do a trial before that but I am not sure I would need it.

Thoughts, suggestions and comments will all be VERY much appriciated. Thanks Ladies

We were down in May for a planning session for our November wedding. I did a hair and make up trial with Ana and I am very glad I did. We tried a few different hairstyles, a few different makeup things and she put false eyelashes on me (which I had never worn). I did the trial at around 11:00am and we had our engagement photo session with Misty later that afternoon at both the WL and then the GF. I am glad we did this and this way my hair and makeup were done for our photos (see the photo in my avatar - it is from that day). We will be in Epcot for my DH's birthday on 3/30 (this is his actual birthday so he will get the $75.00 gift card) hopefully we will bump into you. We have late lunch resservations in the new place in Italy. What time is your photoshoot?

DW didn't have a trial, and I think that Ana was very good at understanding what DW wanted, both for make up and hair.

I would suggest to do it too. You never know how you like a particular make-up artist until they actually put make-up on you. You may not need her for an idea of your wedding, but you may want to just try her out and it's a perfect opportunity to do for the E-pics. I believe Ana will tone down the hair & make-up after the trial if you want a more casual look for e-pics.

I had Ana do my e-pics for my engagement shoot when we went for the site visit. I loved her She's amazing, but since I didn't have a veil or tiara yet, I obviously couldn't try styles for the big day. But I really like how she made me up so I booked her right away for my wedding. I'm having my stylist at home do trials with my tiara & veil and I'll take pics for Ana.
