Make-Up Techniques?

i know...
me asking about make up..>_>

but anywho, i have an upcoming costume (next week! >_<; ) and the character and i both have blue eyes. to me, the blue eyes are important to both character and costume and ive been searching everywhere for make up tips on how to make blue eyes pop.

but everything i know and that im finding works, its just really smokey looking or very bold, something i dont want. i want something as natural as i can get, but still with that something to make blue eyes enhanced.

does anyone have any tips you could throw my way? anything is greatly appreciated, loves. :]

This says to use contrasting color and that brown is the contrast color for blue. Maybe some subtle brown eyeliner?

Brown eyeliner, black looks good on some people, so try both and see what makes your eyes pop the most, for me it's black, but I have some friends who's eyes look best with brown, and I have blue eyes too, so this is from experience.

Or blue coloured contacts.
Not sure how expensive they are though.

ive heard "brown and sandy" shades a lot and also the brown eyeliner.

i know almay makes a line of cosmetics that are specifically for making whatever eye color you have pop. but...of course every piece you need to complete the whole look is way too expensive for me right now.
