Quick FL Resident AP Renewal Question - if we renew our FL resident APs, will we still need to show current proof of FL residency before being able to use our passes? If not, that may push us to renew rather than buy a new AP in May. While we still have proof of residency, it did take a while for GR to issue our APs so it would be nice to bypass that step. Thank you.

It's now after 9PM, Eastern Time.
No one has yet posted (here) about an announcement from Disney that new ticket prices will go into effect tomorrow.

You will not need to show your id if you renew online

Saw a report that updated signs went up at parking ticket booths this evening. $22 regular, $45 preferred.

I just purchased gold annual passes online (new). Ive had a pass years ago with magic bands and fingerprint scan, etc. Im going in July this year. Can I just use my magic band for my room reservation to enter the park or do I have to go to the ticket booth to activate my annual pass before entering the parks?

You have to go to the ticket booth (or Guest Relations) to activate your annual pass before entering the parks.

Just went on line to purchase annual passes and stitch ate the page. :(:(

on the phone with WDW to see if I can purchase them over the phone.

BTW its almost 11pm EST

Ticket page opens fine for me (@ 11pm EST. right now.)

Same old Feb. 12, 2017 page... HERE.

Same 2017 AP page, too... HERE.

It could change at any time, of course.
(Stitch could get hungry.)

Just hearing crickets.

Below is what popped up on the WDW ticket page about 11:58PM Eastern.

For those who don't know, the DISboards go off-line for a couple of hours every night starting about 4AM Eastern.
So at that time, if anyone is still looking in, we won't be able to post or read anything here (obviously.)

If I treat this like "Election Return Night," ;)
I might try clicking on the WDW ticket pages a few times later
and see if they do happen to change sometime in the wee small hours.

Regardless, I'll see you here tomorrow morning.

yes about 10 min(about 11 pm, cst), ago I tried to get in and it said the above info posted by Robo. I'm so mad, guess I missed it, I'm sure it's unlikely to open for ticket sales before they go up now. Of course, I'll keep refreshing but not expecting it to change until prices are up. And looked like AP's were going up a lot according to one of the blog sites that posted, (think it was wdwnt), much more than I thought. I expected the tickets would be up till 12 a.m. pacific time. UGH!!! so mad!!

Prices did go up. The DVC website is now showing the new AP prices. WDW is still working on updating the ticketing website.

It might be irrelevant or too late, but here are the Disneyland expected increases:

So Cal AP - $414
Deluxe AP - $769
Signature AP - $1099
Signature Plus AP - $1299
Premier AP - $1579

ETA: the Disneyland site still works for me at 10:12 PST

Wait, what?! Deluxe AP from $619 to $769 (+$150 or 24%)? Signature AP from $849 to $1099 (+$250 or 29%)? Signature Plus AP from $1,049 to $1299 (+$250 or 24%)? :faint:

You can always try a third-party seller who may still have the old tickets in stock.

I know, I know :( really hoping it’s not accurate but seeing as the Premier AP lines up with the WDW releases, which have been all but confirmed (via DVC sites) I think this might be true
