Our last trip was during the value season also, and we saw people turned away at almost all of the table service restaurants. The dining plan is very popular right now, and it makes it difficult to get into some of them.
Totally agree with previous posters. Our last trip was in value season, we ate @ '50s twice for lunch and both days people were turned away. Also dinners @ Le cellier and San Angel. Disney dining is popular.
I don't know about Planet Hollywood. Prime Time diner is popular, I'd make an ADR. With the dining plan so popular, it's more important than ever to have an ADR if you really want to eat somewhere. The free dining plan was offered during a value season last year, and it was practically impossible to get seated anywhere or even to get an ADR at the last minute.
Not really good for families, but for smaller groups: I like to eat at the Tune In Lounge. You can order from the full menu at the bar.
Thank you I quess that I will make ressies for everything. Last thing we want to be is hungry w/o a place to eat. I was hoping to have a day or two w/o ressies so that we could say ohh that looks cool we should try there but oh wel better to be safe than sorry. Thanks again
