Make ressies at 180 days

Last Saturday, we were at the 180 day point and I called to make our dining reservations. We are on the dining plan for 4 nights. I was interested in reserving Prime Time Cafe, Grand Floridian Cafe, Le Cellier and Kona Cafe. No problem on getting the times we wanted until Le Cellier. At 180 days out the only times available for August 12 were 5:30 and 8:30.

If you want to dine at Le Cellier, get your ressies asap.

La Cellier was my favorite for food. We ended up getting a 2:50 ressie, uggg!

Guess what? It worked into our schedule that day and it was fabulous all the way around. Anytime is a good time, IMO. Make the best of it and work around your ressie.

You know, I think everyone always has problems getting Le Celier. Interestingly enough, it was my easiest ressie to get this time. The one that was hard was Crystal Palace.

You may want to do what I did. A couple of nights ago I was wondering if I could get a better time than 5:10 and when I called, they had a 6:15 that wasn't available 100 or so days ago. It never hurts to call later on. People cancel all the time.

That's odd.

I called last Tuesday at my 180 days and got my choices and time preferences for every meal (and we're on the DxDDP and we already have 15 ADR's for the six days we're there!).

We'll be at Le Cellier on 8/14 at 5:50 (the time we wanted).

I guess things REALLY fill up fast so yes, call at 180 days, right in the morning if you can (when we called at 6am CST, we were on hold for 15 minutes!).

I was on hold for 10 minutes 180 days out and I was able to get the ressies for the places and times I needed. In fact, a couple were for a little later, so the kids are able to sleep in an extra few minutes...oh, yea, these kids will be up before the chickens
