make reservation now, add dining/tickets later?

I am new to planning a Disney trip. Help, please! I want to make my campsite reservations now, but can I later add dining and/or tickets if I decide to? If they come out with a special, like 40% off or something, after I make the reservations, can I still get the discount? I've learned so much from "lurking" already. Great board!!

Yes you can.

Your best bet is to contact rhonda@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com

Tell her your dates and she will secure a campsite for you for now. Then let her know what you want your final package to be. Then as packages and discounts come around, she will AUTOMATICALLY search for those deals and apply whatever she can to your reservation.

You should definitely make your campsite reservations now. You can add tickets, package, etc. on up until the day you check in. Just keep watching for discounts. The nice thing about campsite only reservations is that you can cancel 5 days out and get a full refund. I think package reservations have a 30 day policy.

Thanks to both of you! I contacted Rhonda and have a site held! We will be going June 13th. We both grew up camping in the national forests of Colorado and have continued to do so with our own family, but I'm sure Disney camping will be totally different!!

Now that all have answered your questions, (and, yes you can).
on to the important stuff. When ya'll go to the Fort,,pack a fishing pole,,if you find yourself with some spare time, there's fish in them there waters !

Well, this is my plan: MK 1st day, play at FW 2nd, Epcot 3rd day, play at Fort 4th, AK 5th. So, we may just need that pole!! My husband fly fishes in CO, but maybe he can adjust!
