Make my decision

Our summer trip has gone AP! We decided to splurge and get APs for this summer and then get next summer in on these. Our trip next summer will be I would guess nine nights (min), but we decided to cut a night off Vero, and head to WDW early. Here is what is available for our six nights: we do not want to move either. 1 bedroom is a must, we have three kids! We will probably skip AK, one day HS, the rest MK and EPCOT.

We can do BWV (pool garden view-- more points), SSR (currently booked there) or OKW.

We have not stayed at any of these resorts. SSR was chosen because we planned to just swim and relax... but now that is somewhat out the window. I can't really justify the extra points to stay there over OKW. I can see why to stay at BWV... location, location, location. We are big BCV fans, stayed there the last two summers!

I want to hear from DVC vets...

OKW 1 bedrooms are huge, so with the 3 children, that's the one I would pick. They have the sleeper chair as well as the pull out sofa. Of the ones you mention, that's the only one that does.

OKW is also nice and close to Downtown Disney if that's anything you're interested in. My personal choice, though, would be BWV.

With three kids, I would do what is easier for Mama and my opinion is that BWV would be easier -- you walk out the door and be on your way!

I'm curious why you would choose to skip AK. We all love it there and enjoy eating at Tusker House.

I'd do OKW over SSR as described. Larger units, less points and the extra sleeper chair. I'm assuming the kids are older, if so, I love the BWV location but I wonder if the group will fit into the 1 BR units there (or SSR). AKV (Kidani) and BLT will have the extra chair and bath in the 1 BR units.

We went with Boardwalk Villas. The location was the sell, and checking points we did not make ourselves too point poor for next summer either. The kids at 3, 6, and 8 can still make a sleeper sofa work at BWV, and those days are numbered. Then we will be for sure at OKW or Animal Kingdom Villas. Thanks for the input!
