While I was cruising last week, I found out what the Magic will be doing in port on Saturday, July 16th.

Disney's An Evening of Magic
On July 16th DisneyHand, worldwide outreach division of The Walt Disney Company, will host An Evening of Magic - a special fundraising event to celebrate the Foundation's 25th Anniversary and Disneyland's 50th Anniversary. Guests will be able to rub elbows with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, while enjoying great food and special entertainment aboard the Disney Magic ship while it's docked at Los Angeles harbor. For more information about becoming An Evening of Magic sponsor, or to purchase tickets, contact 310-201-5033. All funds generated from this event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

I called and the tickets are $1000 for adults and $250 for children under 13.

That is a lovely way to raise money for an excellent cause. Unfortunately way out of my price league! And I will be on board a week later anyway. Plus there is an event that night at the Disneyland Hotel I hope to be going to - it's going to be a busy time!
