One of the ladies at work today, had the July issue of "Southern Living" magazine. It had an article on everything at Disney that has to do with water. Pools, water rides, boats etc. Lots of good info and great photos.

Interesting side note: on the last page there is a listing of all the resorts and info on each of the pools called "Sleeping by the Swimming Pools".

At the top of the listing is printed: Quote:
"When choosing accomodations in July in Central Florida, you'll want to take into consideration the swimming opportunites. At Walt Disney World, you're welcome to explore all the resorts, but the pools are limited to overnight guests only".

Great article. :)

:D Thanks for the heads up Sammie. I just received my Southern Living in Monday's mail and have not had a chance to look at it yet.

I have this magazine -- great to see WDW resorts highlighted!

Yes Sammie, it does say that. My family always thought that the pools were for that resorts' guests anyway. Isn't that true at every hotel? I mean, who would just wander into a Hilton and decide "hey, let's go swimming" if they are not staying there, right?

I'm going to have to look for that magazine this weekend. Thanks for the info.

For those of you not lucky enough:D to live in the south and have this wonderful magazine, here is a link to the story. There is alot of good info about fishing trips, water sports, etc, with the prices.

I loved the article! The full page pic of the Breathless on the lake with the Boardwalk in the background make me homesick for WDW!

As I was reading about the pools, I was hoping they would mention that they were for the resort guests only. This will keep someone from being turned who isn't aware of the rule.
