Hey guys!
SInce everyone here seems to be such a great fan of Ohana's, I thught I would recommended another type of family style luau in Seaworld
Now first of - you do not need admission to get in to eat at the restaurant
This place is so AWESOME! We ate here the night before I got engaged in Nov. and it was the best - one of our favorite things of the entire vacation!
We saw this on Seaworld's website when we bought the tickets and my mother wanted to try the Spirit of Aloha show, but I had already made 3 reservations for Disney restuarants. So we made ressie's for this, a little expensive but so worth it.
They do a family style meal that includes Sweet & Sour Rips, Mahi Mahi, a Chicken Dish and Hawaiin Veggies and Rice, You start off with a citrus salad and orange bread
) so good)
The you finish with a volcano dessert - banana cake with overflowing peanut butter & chocolate. Plus you get a complimentary cocktail with meal
The show is throughout the meal with a special processional entrance right after salad and then Polynesian dancers, musicians, flame throwers, and more - They pick people from the audience too to go up and play the drums and its hysterical! They also teach all the kids a luau dance and give them all leias and give leias to all Birthdays and Anniversaries - There wasn't any honeymooners when we went.
The show was absolutely fantastic - definitely recommended. The seating is nice to because it wraps around the stage, i dont know if they could do special sections, but they might be able to for rehearsal dinners.
My only complaint is that contact wearers do not seat the first table from the stage, the smoke effects bothered my eyes, other than that no complaints!
