Does anyone know if any of the 3 DLR hotels ever show up on those last minute discounted booking sites? I figure they most likely don't, but I think that is the only way I'll be able to afford a night at one.

I don't think so. A lot of the rooms are presold to 3rd parties like Orbitz. They may dump thier rooms if they can't sell them, but I've never noticed this happening.

There have been times that people have reported seeing very, very good prices on Expedia, particularly for PPH. These are apparently rooms purchased by Expedia during major sales, then being resold later. So it happens. But it requires the sale to happen first; and with all the new stuff happening around DLR this year, I don't anticipate this happening during 2012.

I have never seen expedia majorly discounting rooms. No DLH for $100 for example, but $250 when rack rates were way up to $350.

Hello :wave2: I am in Clintonville, nice to hear from you.

Thanks everyone, it looks like I'll just keep my eye on Expedia then. My dates are May 7-16 so it'll be before the new Cars land madness. maybe I'll get lucky, who knows.
