Summary, comments, and the like...

Hello again all,

Well, this trip turned out very well in my opinion. I tried out some new things, such as the Tiki Room, lunch at Kona Kafe, a day trip to Daytona, and a new building at Coronado. I redid many old favorites, including Festival of the Lion King, Off Kilter, the Voices of Liberty, Flo & Eddie at the Flower Power series, Illuminations, Spectro, Scoop Sanderson, and many others. I had some really good meals at Le Cellier, 1900 Park Faire, Kona Kafe, a decent meal with poor service at Boma, and some so-so meals at Pepper Market.

We caught some real good shows at the Comedy Warehouse, and I got to meet and chat with numerous outstanding CM’s all over.

I have really gotten to like Coronado, it seems a notch above the other moderates, and I will most likely stay there again, especially as long as PO-FQ is still closed. I mixed my use of the bus system with the rental car, which worked out pretty well. The car came in handy, especially with the great rate I had, but sometimes it’s nice to just relax and jump on a bus and not worry about parking or driving. The extra suitcase I brought along came in handy too, as we filled it up with all our loot for the trip back.

Anyway, thanks for reading, and please feel free to email me with any questions or comments.

Until the next trip....

Thanks, and take care,

Bill

Thanks for posting. What does the PS stand for in the NYPS

Hello,

Thanks for reading. The PS is actually SP, and stands for (New York) State Police.

Thanks, and take care,

Bill

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. Thats the kind of touring I wish I could do. Do you have any pictures that you wrote about to share on the dis? How did your daughter like the fitness center at CBR? I'm curious, what is left that you want to do but haven't done yet? How often do you go? Thanks for the great tips!

Thanks a lot for the all the great info. I really get a lot of great ideas! I am really jazzed about the CW, you really liked it a lot!

Thanks again for sharing!!!

You mentioned that you found pins in certain areas...you didn't just find them...you were looking for CM who had them to swap with, right? I'm hopeing to meet a friend and her son there, I would love to turn him on to pin collecting.

Hello again,

Thanks for the nice comments, I certainly appreciate them.

In regards to the pictures of the trip, I have quite a few ( and also many from previous trips), but I have never gotten around to posting them online. I think it's about time I made a webpage for my various trip photos.

My daughter has enjoyed the health club at CS the last two trips. It's $5 a day, or $30 for length of stay. She says it is pretty good, and the price is certainly reasonable. It is the only moderate resort at WDW with a health club. I did find out that any guest of a WDW resort can join any of the WDW resort health clubs during their stay, for the same price. So even if you stay at a value or moderate resort w/o a health club, you can join one at a different resort that does have one.

There are still many things at WDW that I haven't done, and plan on doing eventually. Ther are still several resorts to try, restaurants I haven't eaten at, shows and the like to see. I always try to find something I haven't done for each trip, and make a point of doing it.

As to the pins from CM's, I have found that you can find pin bearing CM's pretty much anywhere on property, but some places, such as the Animal Kingdom, and some of the resort gift shops, seem to be the places to find the best pins on CM's for trade.

Check out some fo the pin trading sites, such as :

www.dizneypins.com

or

www.dizpins.com

for info on pin trading. There is also a spot on the official Disney page too.

Thanks again, and take care,

Bill

Thanks for your reports. I read them with interest as we will be staying at CSR for the first time in October. Any helpful hints or info you have about the resort would be appreciated (room locations, bus transportation, etc). It seemed from your reports that Pepper Market was not great. Is this normal? Again, great reports, and thanks

Bill -

I just wanted to take a minute and tell you how much I always enjoy reading your trip reports. They're so informative and full of life!!!

In June I stayed at CSR for the first time (only 1 night, unfortunately!) and am totally hooked - will definitely stay there again in the future!!!

Have you booked your resort for Dec? We'll be at the Dolphin from Dec. 1-7 if you want to meet up for a drink somewhere with a fellow DIS'er. Send me a pm later in the year if you're interested!!!

Thanks again!!!

Hello again,

Thanks for reading and responding to my TR.

First off, for 8caliace, there is a thread under resosrts dealing specifically with Coronado. It is pretty good, and is frequently updated. I would recommend giving a look. Pepper Market is usually pretty good, but they have some issues, such as slow seating, and slightly higher than other moderate breakfast prices, at least in my opinion. They do have a much better selection than the other moderate food courts though.

2nd, for Tigger, I haven't decided where to stay for early Dec. It depends on AP rates, and also if there are good rates at Dolphin/Swan, there is a good chance I'll go back there.

If I can figure out how to insert a picture in these posts, I will, so you know what I look like if you see me there.

Thanks. and take care,

Bill

Beavis and Butthead say: " Cool nickname...heh heh"

Hello Micca,

That's where I came up with the screen name, form the episode where the boys signed up for the military, and affixed that name to the enlistment papers!!!

Thanks for reading, and take care,

Bill
