Major UK holiday firm goes into administration

These company, whihc is the 3rd largest holiday group in the UK provides package deals to orlando (among other places) and there are thousands of people who have now had their holidays cancelled.

Planes were grounded in orlando meaning hundreads of Brits are now stranded there.

that's the scary thing about paying in advance for holidays...
or when you get stranded in some strange place with no way to get back when the company goes belly up...

This is awful news - there is a lot of the UK dissers booked to go with this company and my heart goes out to them.

After pricing up a trip to Florida next year the already rising prices are going to price a lot of travellers out of the market.

This company made it affordable for a lot to visit WDW although we never used them I know a lot that have.

Oh that's terrible news! I'm off to let DSIL know because she was thinking of booking with them for next year (they travelled with TCD last year and thought they were a great).

Something similar happened to me many years ago right before we were to leave on our honeymoon. I was fortunate because my credit card company refunded everything and we were able to rebook with another tour agency. However I still remember the panic I felt when I first found out. Good luck to anyone affected by this.

Our news is full of heartbreaking stories - the Disney weddings that have to be cancelled, people stranded and what do the UK travel companies do - put up their prices !!!!

Some people have saved for years for their "Holiday of a lifetime" - I cant imagine turning up at the airport to be told to go home

There is another vid of a couple who were due to get married, I feel so bad for them as they don't have enough time get the money and rebook.

Terrible news, tho i'm not entirely surprised in all honesty, writing was on the wall for them this summer - not that that's any comfort at all for all the people booked with them, hope people manage to get there money back or something sorted.

Had to ring round all the people coming to my wedding today to make 100% sure that this didn't affect anyone - fortunately it didn't, but it easily could have!!
