Major travel issues on way to RCI exchange.

What a crazy experience. So glad you finally made it safe & sound. Aloha!

Yes, it was crazy. Tom and I held hands and did talk about our 48 years together for a bit.
One flight attendant with 20 years experience had never been through anything like that. The crew was very professional and we all appreciated how they approached the trial. They came with us on the new aircraft to Denver.

There was no announcement, but Tom ordered a Bloody Mary....no charge on the successful trip to Denver.

What beautiful view, that must be a relaxing place to sit and have a beverage of your choice, morning and evenings. I have heard great things about KBC on Maui. Have a wonderful time.

Our Favorite Maui restaurant is Leilani's at Whalers Village. It's a great place and time of year to see whales whether from shore or a boat. For those going in the future during the season, a good pair of binoculars is helpful.

I second Leilani's!! Good eats!! Nice view!!

Question - is KBC within walking distance to Whaler's Village?

No. It's past the Westin

We have always walked down the ocean path from the Sheraton at Black Rock. Does that mean we walked past it or am I turned around?

It's well past Black rock on the section of Kaanapali that's not connected. When I said it's past the Westin, I mean the Westin Timeshare, not the former Maui Surf that's now the Westin Hotel. I don't think one could walk it by beach reasonably. It's close to 3 miles by car and likely 2.5 if one could figure out a more direct walking path.

Oh OK, thanks. I wasn't sure if you meant the Westin that we always walked past or what.
