Amazon Web Services experienced a major outage this morning. Disney is one of many sites affected.

That honestly doesn’t make it any less annoying. All check ins are frozen. No backup system to get people into their rooms. CMs have no idea what’s going on.

Yeah, it's impacting schools, government agencies, universities, streaming services, etc. Disney and some of our other suppliers have been impacted. Delta Airlines phone system is down (I'm not sure if that's as a result of this or something else). I know it really stinks for people trying to check into hotels/etc, but things are kind of at a stand still for a lot of folks today.

I think the monorail is down, too. I’m staying in BLT and the monorail track goes right past my window. I haven’t seen a monorail go by in the last 3 hours. A friend emailed me and said the AWS servers are down which is what is causing the outages.

Amazon Web Services has an outage. An article I read said that Southwest and Delta are affected.

yep... I work for a major global SaaS software company... AWS is our backbone... we have thousands of F500 companies, government entities, etc as our customers worldwide.... it's been a *lovely* day.... sigh..

Yesterday was lovely. Today was even better. (Operations Manager for an IT company on the East Coast).

I had the pleasure of explaining the outage to businesses (clients) who were completely unable to work for most of the day, as AWS is the backbone of our operation.

Already planning a 2023 trip to WDW.
