20 minutes form Allentown. We just lost electric once.

DisneyLovingMoma, we are 25 miles North of Allentown, but the way my dh drives it doesn't take long.

Newswatch16 had the tornado watch so that means Scranton.

Send it north. We sure could use the rain in Ct. When we were in WDW last week we had some beautiful storms. The night we ate at the CG there was so much cloud to cloud and cloud to ground lightening that it competed with the fireworks at the MK. Huge bolts.

Believe me if I could send it away I would. The last home we lived in, very near us was struck by lighting 5 times in 8yrs. Hitting and blowing out our well pump 3 of thoes times.

but we had one a couple of months ago that freaked my DH and That scared me more than the storm

My DD is terrified of them
to the point of really causing harm to herself with worry so we are
dealing with that but it is hard cause DH and I and her sis enjoy storms


I don't like lightning stikes though My brother was hit once about 15 years ago
came thru the pipes in the sink

no fun there.

Hope your dd gets better with them. I am not usally this nervous but it has been pretty bad.

Oh your poor brother, hope it wasn't real bad. Though getting hit is never good.
