Major issues with Snow White Coaster!

I agree I'm not optimistic for the ride. However, What are they going to do with the space? It's TDO so they won't let space go to waste!

What cheap thing do you think TDO will put in the space if they don't do the ride?

more dumbos!

Sorry to double post... but the folks on WDW Magic who have a good track record with this stuff say this rumor just ain't so.

random scenary or a playground, or how about a random sub lagoon that has no chance of being used

based soley on the grammar and spelling of that post, I wouldn't give it too much credibility.

:D

Just went to Disscussion kingdom and read the thread. They all sound like the minecart thing not happening is baloney. They are a lot more optimistic than us.

If it doesn't work, use a different coaster car. That's how I look at it :confused3

Disney's record of announcing things and then quietly ignoring it later is getting pretty long lately. We probably won't get an official announcement on it.

I think them telling us Hyperion Wharf was stopped was some sort of mistake by the PR department...

Not stopped. "Refined." I'm not even joking -- that's the word they used.

The fact that we have such little confidence in Disney is the only reason a thread like this explodes, Disney haven't really given us much to defend them with recently have they?

According to Lee this is dead these problems were resolved months ago.

Firstly, your talking-to made me laugh.:biglaugh:

Secondly, I have made several posts about this very subject.
Allow me to condense:
-Yes, there were some engineering hiccups earlier regarding the swinging cars. I enquired about it some time ago and was told it was nothing major and would not affect the project moving ahead.
-These design issues are not recent, and were solved some time ago. This rumor is running a few months behind what is actually happening.
-The ride is continuing at the scheduled pace. The most current plans show a somewhat different layout, but other than that...it is proceeding as planned.
-I advised folks to keep an eye on D23. Expect to see a good model, some new art, and possibly a mock-up of one of the cars on display. I also advised to use D23 as a gauge for how the project is progressing. If it were to be glossed over, it could maybe be seen as a sign of instability. I am assured that this will not be the case.

Ugh...no thanks.

No. Nothing nearly that complex.

And Dinoland.

And that Stitch ride (I've heard rumors that one exists).

As for the rumor about the ride problems - "Where's the beef?" Proof or no dice.

I dislike the Stitch ride so much....I pushed it out of my memory. Yes, that IS a low point too. I laughed when they put in fast pass machines!!!!

There is no stitch ride anywhere...there are a few stitch shows...but no rides

Why don't they just use some of those college interns they have running the parks to get it working properly. I'm sure some of them are engineering majors.:lmao: But seriously though, it would be a real bust to the FLE if this was true. I guess we'll have to wait and see. But don't hold your breathe.:headache:

No true credibility in this rumor. Not even a source, not even a bus driver! I'd believe it if there was at least a bus driver, but there's not.....I feel like the any problem would either be funding or laziness, which are both huge problems in Disney. A slow choke hold is being put on imagineering in their creativity, scale, and "magic". I don't know if anyone else has noticed but were getting alot of cloned rides (either remakes or reapplications of tech already designed) and standard model company rides. Its a little dissapointing to see them follow this path, but I'm hoping for the best that this Snow White coaster works out.
