Major Domo

Has anyone had Major Domo at their wedding? Can you tell me a about what Major Domo does during the wedding and reception?

I think he acts as the ring bearer and when the officient asks for the rings he walk down the isle with them.

You are correct, he does take place of a ring bearer. I had him at my wedding in May 2003 and it was a suprise to my guest. Everyone thought it was an exciting touch to the ceremony.
He comes marching in to the melody of "When you wish upon a Star" and is in full Costume. He bows to you when he reaches the altar and the bride is to courtsey back. Then he proceed to give the rings to the Officiant and stands off to the grooms side for the rest of the ceremony. When you and your husband are announced to your guest at the end you would walk out of the ceremony with the Major Domo following you.
I must say that I am very happy I decided on for my ceremony My guest still talk of it till this day. The cost back then was $600.00.

Hmm well he is sort of like a Footman looking chap from Cinderella but with more air and grace.

I believe that I saw somewhere that the major domo can deliver the rings in a glass slipper. If there is such a thing, would it be possible to have your own ring bearer carry the rings in the glass slipper? Or is the option only available with the major domo?

My glass ring pillow did have a glass slipper on top of it and the rings were inside. I have attached a pic of the major domo with us after the ceremony.

MICKEY69 - Michelle!!!!! First I must say you looked sooo beautiful!! I have watched your demo video over and over again on Stans site, reason being is that Im on there watching mine as well LOL!!. I didnt realize that MICKEY69 is Michelle !!!LOL!!

I just think you and your husband are the best!!!! What great people you both are with an awesome sense of humor and it totally looked like you were having the time of your life. LOVE THOSE WEDDING GLASSES!!
Everytime I watch the video my face hurts me from smiling the whole entire time. Thanks for sharing your video, and congrats to you and your husband.

I would love to set up Disney Trip that all of us past Disney Brides and future disney brides could meet up in Disney and just share our stories with each other and have a good time in a place that obviously we all feel is MAGICAL!!!

Thank you........As you know it was the most awesome experience for those of you who did it. I have to say that I just like you am on Stan's site watching everyones video. The reason I chose Stan 6 weeks before the wedding was becasue of this site and watching your video helped.
