Major changes at DTD eff. 12/1

More details have been announced about the parking and access changes effective next Monday, 12/1:

• All Marketplace and PI parking will be closed for construction
• The only Guest parking available full-time will be the new West Garage and the lots behind La Nouba. The overflow lots at Casting, Team Disney, and behind Hess will still be used as needed.
• The only auto entrances will be the former Entrance 3 (across from Team Disney) and Entrance 5 (across from TL). Entrances 1 & 2 will be closed.
• The only pedestrian crosswalks to cross Buena Vista Dr. will be at Hotel Plaza Blvd. (Hilton to Once Upon A Toy), Entrance 1 (Casting to WOD) and Entrance 3 (Team Disney to PI/West Side.) The crosswalk at the Hess Station will be closed.
• Internally, the boardwalk bypass around PI is closing; it has been replaced by a new walkway thru the future Landing area.

Is valet parking still going to be an option after 12/1?

It will still be available, but probably just by La Nouba.

The internal announcement didn't specifically address valet parking, but an accompanying map showed space reserved for valet parking at that end. I would think that with both Entrances 1 & 2 closed for construction, it would not be practical to offer it at Marketplace.

That's just my opinion based on what's been released.
