It sounds really exciting- I cannot wait to hear what is announced!!!

hmmm. You're right, I went back and read it and no mention of NYCjbdreamer said:Where does it reference NYC?

Or, combining all of the Parks for a Major Epcot Anniversary theme?
No really big. Like princesses-at-the-ball and pirates-on-the-high-seas big.

Still hoping it will turn out to be something more exciting, though.![]()

There are plans underway to introduce a new "Pirates and Princesses" hard ticket event at the Magic Kingdom. Based on a similar concept to "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party" and "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party", the new event would take place after regular parks hours, and would require a separate ticket for entry. As part of the evening events would be a Pirates and Princesses parade. Whilst this concept is strongly tipped to come to reality around January 2007, please remember that this information is not officially confirmed, and as always is subject to change.

I think this is most likely the angle that they will take. In additon I think they will try to tie in a WDW, Cruise, and foriegn Disney destination all in one with special pricing and like someone else said air travel. It would be great to get a chance to experience other Disney parks around the world and to be able to get special deals to do it. JMO
