Majel Barrett-Roddenberry Dies

I got home from work and Scott told me that Majel Barrett-Roddenberry died today. She had leukemia.

This makes me very sad.

A lot of us kinda grew up with her as she played various ST roles. It IS sad -- makes me feel even older than normal...

Well, damn. I have avoided allowing reality into my pixie dust bubble of joy until now.

I am very sad to read this. She was a very special lady for sure.

Ok - I am BIG GEEK - I keep tearing up at work over this....
My fellow Star Trek buddy here at work mentioned it and I had to tell it's too early and we'll have to wait to next week to talk about it.
