Always curious, why is VB and HH a quite a bit more than the WDW resorts?? Insurance because of hurricanes???

What is the difference between the two VB dues amounts. One is right in line with VWL, while the other is quite a bit higher? Is it based upon when you purchased or something?

I thinking about doing an add-on through resale, but I'm looking for around 100 pts. I noticed where a Vero offering was for 130 pts vs. a VWL of 100. The dues/maintenance fees for VB are a little less (.02) in one VB column, but considerably more in the other column. Just trying to think of long-term. Wish I was more business minded to see which would be better in the long run!

yep - original owners were promised a larger resort (which means annual dues spread over more owners = lower dues per owner - also part of why HHI and VB are higher IMO). as a result, DVC agreed to subsidize their annual dues when DVC decided to make VB a smaller resort than originally planned.

most VB owners can just ignore the subsidized dues column.
