Which would you do- this is for onenight just myself and dd 10, as we are going down two days before our cruise (staying 1 night near Disney) and then on to Port Canaveral. We will ahve a car, will not be in our room except aftr about 7pm, most important:

1. clean and safe;

2. breakfast incld.

3. good pool is a big asset

4. fairly near Disney (we will be driving directly from airport to MK then hotel that night, check out in morning, back to Epocot, and then onto to the Port)

This will be March 11. Any recommendations (I have done PL before but that was for a Resort). We want to spend less thsi time, and I can get Amerisuites for about 43 or Mainstay for 55 through Hotelkingdom.
Thanks
Debbie

Hey Debbie, while I've heard decent reviews for the Amerisuites, I really advocate Priceline for the offsite Orlando area. I have relatives (Grandparents, actually) staying at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort (a 3* on Priceline) as we speak. They told me that the hotel is just perfect for them. The rooms have just been renovated, along with the whole hotel, all rooms have balconies, everyone was helpful to them, shuttle service was "decent", and the rooms as they said "Are large and spotless". They were even given a free upgrade to a room facing Epcot (fireworks) for free, even at the $35 Priceline rate they paid (current internet rate is $69- double their price).

Granted, using Priceline, you can't be assured of this hotel, but you have a great shot at it if you bid 3* in the WDW zone. Even if you don't get it, I have stayed at many of the 3*'s in the Disney and Universal zones (Rosen Centre, Radisson Barcelo, SHeraton Studio City, etc.) and never been dissapointed.

If I were you, I would start bidding at $32 if rejected there jump to $35 and add the Kissimmee zone(a free re-bid). I'm confident you'll get a great hotel/resort!

Jim
