No tickets needed, they pick up and drop off at a point in front of the station on Main street and at the plaza. Note that it is one way journey only So you will have to walk back if you have a DLP stroller
There are vehicles that travel up main street at about 5 miles/hour. One is a jailers van so it adds a bit of fun. You can walk quicker, but it is about the experience
We returned last night, and there were no vehicles on Main St apart from on Thursday as we left about 12 there was one old fashioned car, but this appeared to be a one off.
The only vehicle I saw during our stay was a horse drawn carriage, no one was riding on it though (other than the CMs) so I can't say if it was possible to or not.
The operation of the Main Street vehicles depends from the weather.
It was snowing in January, so no horse-drawn carriage!! (horses at DLP are treated better than the mice! Minnie was still posing in an ultra-short skirt in the snow!!!!!!!) (btw, that mouse has sexy legs! I was jaleous (or however you write that word, lol))
I have checked my park map, which is only up until the 12/3/06 and it says "Main Street Vehicles-closed for the season" Not sure what they mean by a season, sure someone will.
