Main Street Entertainment and Activities

When you get your corndog, go across the street to the seating area at the Coke Plaza.
There is a piano, sit in the shade and if it is 1:00 (currently) without notice the Mad Hatter and Alice and Wonderland
will show up and organize a game of Musical Chairs. It is a half hour of improve and jokes.

It is different every day and the time may move back to 2:30 in October.
(Ask at City Hall or the information booth at the Adventureland entrance

This looks like so much fun! Ok, will need to put this on the agenda as well. Hmmm, it's starting to look like I need to set aside more than an hour for Main Street. Thanks for the tip!

I love watching the Flag Retreat ceremony. The time will be posted in the entertainment schedule. It's in the Main Street Plaza right in front of the train station.

I watched it three days ago, the Dapper Dans sang patriotic songs. They ask any current military members and veterans to step forward to be honored. Very moving.

This is one of the most moving things I have seen at DL. I tear up.

Perusing through the different entertainment on the Disneyland website - who are the Straw Hatters? Are they good?

I always make sure to catch the Straw Hatters when they're playing on Main Street. It's a fun little show with good music and appearances with Donald, Mickey & Minnie. Definitely check them out

Flag retreat and Straw Hatters - would love to see both of them. It's dawning on me that I won't be able to see everything on Main Street that I would like to given my very short visit to DLR. I'm going to have to look at the times guide and try to shoot for a window where I can see the most.
