Main Street Eletrical Parade

My most magical Disney moment happened at the Electric parade. We were sitting in the front row, and I had my (then) three year old, princess obsessed DD in my lap. Every single character that passed by made a point of giving her extra attention, especially the princesses, so she was already having a great time, and so was I, because she was so happy. Then the float with Prince Charming on it went by, and he bowed toward my daughter and motioned with the glass slipper like he wanted her to try it on. There was a little gasp from the people around us, and my daughter lit up like a Christmas tree. The float moved on, and my DD looked up at me and said, "Mama, did you SEE that?" Makes me all teary just to think of it.

That kind of stuff is why I love Disney.

Awww... so sweet. Thanks for sharing. :wizard:

I saw it too, on Jan 25th. Glad to get to see it, as the music is my second favorite memory of Disney, second only to IASW's music!

And I can definitely say that it is FRUSTRATING to see the DEP "advertised" on their holiday pages as being part of the Holiday Season, but to NOT have it playing the entire holiday season. Very very VERY uncool of them, IMO. Sneaky, even.

I agree! I think they should have it the entire time if they are going to advertise it in the holiday pages. We leave on the 17th, so we will miss it by two days :sad2: .
