For those that don't like long waits or busy areas, here's a tip:

On Wednesday, June 4, we snagged a spot on the parade route at 9:10 pm for the 9 pm parade. We were the 2nd row from the ropes, directly across from Country Bear Hall. We had to wait about 10 minutes for the parade to arrive.

Later that evening and also later in the week, we noticed that this spot was completely empty during the 11 pm showing.

So if you don't need to be on Main Street or in the Hub, this could be a viable option.

That's a good tip.
I agree that deep in Frontierland is a good spot for parade-viewing.

(True for all "full-route" parades, not just MSEP.)

Thanks for the tip! We go in 2 weeks :cool1: and have always tried to watch parades from Main Street. Will definitely keep in mind that Frontierland is less crowded!

Any view of Wishes from there. Been a while since I've been in the park and hoping to find a less conventional view of both.

For as long as I can remember, we've always watched parades from Frontierland. I honestly don't think I've ever watched a parade from Main Street. (unless you count just walking by...which has happened plenty)

You can get an excellent and unconvential view of Wishes if you take a short walk up to the Riverboat dock. Not many people milling around there either.

If you'll head to the southern end of the "Wooden Bridge" that
I highlighted in purple on the map, you can see a good (if WELL "off-angle")
view of Wishes (even see a bit of Tinker Bell's flight during the show.)

But, from anywhere that does not offer a good view of the front of the Castle (and in Frontierland there is no view of the front of the Castle) you won't be able to see the new "show" that is actually projected on the front of the Castle,
"Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks.
And, in the opinion of many, it is a "must-see" show.

Are we talking about parade viewing from the water side or the shops side of the road in Frontierland?

Agreed!! We MUCH prefer watching parades out in Frontierland! Especially the later msep, there's usually no one around that area at that time!
