Main Street Cinema What's It Like?

I think my kids might enjoy this since we don't have a good theater in our dusty little town. Are there seats inside? Is it nice and cool? Any details would be appreciated.

The Main Street Cinema is a very small round room with old cartoons being played. It's a nice place to escape the heat, but not really a place you go & sit down to watch films. Most people step in & watch a couple minutes & then leave.

I wasn't that impressed with the main street theater, given the size and lack of chairs. I would recommend the Muppet attraction in California Adventure for a more old time theater experience (and it'll be a chance to cool off in July). Also the Aladdin stage show in California Adventure is amazing and not to be missed! Good chance to sit down, cool off, and enjoy a fantastic show...

Agreed with all that, but it is where you can see Steamboat Willie, the first Mickey Mouse cartoon released, and (IIRC) Plane Crazy, the first Mickey Mouse cartoon made.

I really like stopping in at the Main Street Cinema to watch various showings. They have some fun things to view. If you are a Disney fan or enjoy seeing some historical cinematography it's nice.

If you are looking to watch a movie, it's not the place to go.
