Main St Electrical Parade

Hey I'm sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone know if they still have the Electrical Parade? I know it was at DCA but wanted to see if it's something we have to look forward to in October Thank you!

At this time it is "on LOAN" to WDW. I have read that a return date is unknown at this point.

There have been rumors about it returning to DL, but nothing has been set in stone. They haven't had it at DL since.. er I thought it was 1998, but it went to DCA until 2010? Or something like that. I would love for it to come back, but as of right now it is not coming back and probably won't be coming back in the near future.

I miss it quite a lot actually, it would be nice for it to return.

On LOAN my bootie...wdw STOLE it from us just like they do everything else..ie Soarin' TSM, ...they just cant come up with their own stuff...just HAVE to take ours....the only thing we have from wdw is TOT and we've had that a long time...I think its time we take something from them..I say let us have RnRC...

I was amazed when I first saw the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland when I was very young. Fast forward a few decades and a few thousand miles to Tokyo Disneyland, and I'm still amazed:

There were a lot more floats that I couldn't get pictures of. It was a really well done parade and I can't wait to go back in January 2013.

i remember seeing this one when i was a kid. My son has never seen it. I really wanted it to come back to dl but seein as oct will be our last dl trip for soem time ill hope that when we come back to dl maybe we will have it back i loved it so much

WDW currently has it and most WDW fans really want our old parade (Spectromagic) back.

I wish it would come back!! Only my oldest DS remembers it. Still my fave parade of all time. I bet the BF hasn't seen it either, gonna have to ask him.

This is super depressing news I didn't think it was still there but to have it be on loan to WDW is worse then it not being at DL! My mom has been talking about this parade for 20 years I swear!

While it certainly isn't the same, a year or so ago I purchased a DVD of it off of eBay. It was not an 'official' Disney product, but VERY VERY well done! You might look there to get a 'fix'!

Thank you for the info! I'm soooo sad that it's not at DL anymore i always assumed that is where it always was LOL.

Maybe I wont complain to DH about that WDW trip he wants to take next year. I'm a HUGE DL supporter though! LOL

Just read Al Lutz's article stating that it looks like the Electrical parade might come back in spring!! I'd be sooo thrilled if it would! I too was AMAZED by that parade when I went several times as a child. Even now, I get goosebumps just seeing these pictures! I really, really hope it does for sure come back in the spring!!! Crossing fingers for all of us!!!

Sorry I got to chime in here. I know this is not about the parade, but let's not say we got a attraction from WDW. Our TOT stinks compared to theirs. I am embraced by the version that was put into DCA.
