Starbucks is now where Main Street Bakery used to be.

I assumed it was the bakery but also offered sbux. I had plans to grab breakfast there with a snack credit. Booooooo!

You still can. They didn't just put in a coffee bar. There are plenty of baked goods to choose from, some Sbux brand and some of the typical Disney fare. They also sell breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, oatmeal and other grab and go items like cereal and milk.

Personally I think some over dramatize the bakery makeover. It is still called Main Street Bakery and it still serves bakery items. No they don't have the cinnamon bun but it's not like there is not a baked good be found.

I was desperately ill during MVMCP and couldn't get through Main St. to get out, and the CM's I talked to denied that those bypasses even existed. I don't know if they were just ignorant of them or if they were just lying to get rid of me.

I'm can't imagine they can open them upon request. They probably need to be staffed up to supervise people heading through there.

Once you have been caught up in that crush of humanity after Wishes on a busy park evening, you won't CARE if the area is themed or not.

Have used the escape route behind the bakery before. Directed by CM,s of course.Was nice to just walk out of park during the madness. It was also nighttime and I couldnt really see much to ruin the magic.

I was there for the 4th of July a couple years ago, and they used that parking lot as another viewing area for the fireworks after the Hub and Main Street Filled, they even had a few benches scattered around the parking spots. Made for a quick exit after the finally.

Me either, as it would be a perfectly TERRIBLE place to try to see the fireworks.
Just awful, blocked "views."

We've walked through that bypass many times over the years. I think it's rather cool to see some of the "behind the scenes" to be honest, and getting out or in quicker helps too.
