My family and I will be traveling on our first Disney Cruise onboard Wonder leaving this Sunday - July 4th. We have met a a family who will also be cruising that we would like to dine with.

Is seating assigned on the Disney Cruise? If so, how can we change the seating assignments to dine together?

Yes, seating is assigned. Just call DCL or your respective TA's and asked to have your ressies linked together. Once they are linked, you should be seated together for dinner.

You can also go to guest services once on board and they can arrange your seating.

Do what jel0511 said and when you get to your cabin check your dining tickets. If you don't have the same table number as your friends look at the back of your Navigator. There will be information on when and where to request changes in dining assignments. On a 4 night Navigator from February it was Wavebands, Deck 3 Forward between 1pm and 3:30pm.

You don't even have to wait until getting to your stateroom. Your table assignment is also printed on your KTTW card once you check in.
