awesome i just have to finish my intro pages (ran outta of tape runner)so just gotta tape it together and do my scrapbook cover (of course it will have to do with spongebob because i am spongemisty.....) but i will put some disney stuff on it to after all we are the skinnie minnies.. Can't wait ...

Where have I been hiding? Oh yeah, Disney! I am running out today and will get jumping tonight to have my book for tomorrow. Just call me the great procrastinator! Thanks, Aries, for putting all this together! My yummy recipes will make up for the lack of creativity in my book (I hope!).

The order is fine with me. I am almost ready. I spent the majority of my weekend working on my book. I procrastinated, then struggled with how to put things together, had an epiphany about the theme and got excited, then ran into some issues with the execution, & finally pulled through. I have to do a little something to the cover tonight, and pick up big freezer bags & a T-shirt box on the way home. I have ordered T-shirt boxes for the remainder of the mailings. I just don't have them yet. I also have to order extension rods for my book. I managed to get it back together after adding pages, but it is tight. (Long story!) Unfortunately, I won't have the extension rods until my book is already in the mail, so I might have to send the rods to someone along the way to add to my book if it starts exploding. I am so excited!

I'm really not trying to be ignorant...

I have an idea in my head on how I want the sign in page to go - something extremely simple... its not working... I thought I could make a card and glue the bottom down, decorate part of the outside of the card, and then a peep could open a card and sign it...

4 cards per page... tried to do the cards to situate in the corners... the cards arent even, so I've been trying to measure and cut, tramatic, new plan, just put 2 one one side 2 on another... now is it better to glue down the card, or put them in an envelope and you can pull the envelope out..

I bought 2 8x8 albums, my Mickey album is already scuffed on the edges and I cant find where to get at the screws to add more pages AND... one page already tore when I went to put a card stock inside...

am I nuts?

2. The picture... am I supposed to include a wallet size picture of me on the pages I sign from the peeps albums that come to me? Or just put a pic of me on my intro page of my Circle journal...

I'm feeling the same way! I love scrapbooking but for some reason this is making me feel very stupid! I'll be up tonight working on mine after the kids are in bed, so when everyone sees it, please don't laugh at how lame it is!

It is not lame!!It is beautiful!!Lets not make something fun into another stress in our lives.Noone will laugh-mine isn't done yet because I have hit a major roadblock and wasn't home to do it tonight. I will finish it tomorrow and give it to Dragonfly-I know her, she will probably make changes to it before anyone sees it.

OK, will some of you from GA come visit me please, I really could use some real life suggestions, help, advice...

Its not that I'm stressing over it you see, I've just given up!! I'll pick it up tomorrow, Tomorrow is a new day.

I've sketched my intro page, I've printed 3 pictures... but

I'm not sure about the album (the one page ripped) not sure about the whole concept at times...

Give me a few hours tomorrow, and I'll throw something together!!

Don't fret Peeps! Mine is no masterpiece, but I figure it is just for me in the end so I'm happy with it. I just did one intro page with a few pictures I printed out last night (I'm the family photog, so I don't have many of myself) and some bio-tidbits. My cover is nothing spectacular and I have plain white heart tags for people to sign in on. Plus, my kiddos have a nasty cold this morning, so I may not get to the Post Office at all today (sorry HarleyGirl, you maynot get my album on time!). Like dismom9761 said, this should be fun. Not something to stress over (note to self: take your own advice!). I'm just looking forward to getting some new yummy recipes and getting a little glimpse into my fellow peeps lives. I'm off to wipe some noses!

Grumpy didnt help with the book.. and he is gone for another couple of weeks..

So, I am sending along supplies so people can PLAY with my book as much as they want.

I only put in 1 recipe for the "fires"

As I see other books, I may get more creative.. .

I just want to get this in the mail.

Well, I think I am going to be mailing out my book one day late. I don't see how I can avoid it at this point. I forgot to print off something last night that goes on the front of it, and the book is at home, and I am at work. While the post office here where I work is open until 6, the one at home is not open past 5, and it will be 6 by the time I get home, get that thing printed, and get the book in a box. So, I won't be able to get it back to the post office in time. It WILL be in the mail tomorrow though! I can't believe, after all the agonizing over details I did over the weekend (just my personality - I am "detail-oriented" to put it nicely ), that it's practically done, and I just can't figure out the logistics of getting it in the mail today. Ugh! Oh well. Sandy, it will be on it's way to you ASAP! I promise!

Thanks Aries and UTM for offering to put it together for me - I've found plastic bags for all the parts!!

I went to the post office and picked up a free box - be aware that there are 2 boxes, same size, one is fixed price of $10+ the other depends on the weight of the contents!!! The one with a red circle saying fixed price I think - just ask before you box it up I think... I'm new to this!!

I'm waiting for stuff to dry...

heres my gae plan just so you know - I bought 30 8X8 papers , and I plan to print out the recipes so that I can get them on one two page layout, and then I'll insert my pages into your books, or glue them or whatever will work to attach them securely...If you have a 10X10 then I will adjust accordingly, and I will compact my pages if the person before me only has a 1 page layout...so you shouldnt have any blank pages...

OK, Harley I've read this 3 times... are you sure you're speaking English?

I plan to print out the recipes so that I can get them on one two page layout, and then I'll insert my pages into your books, or glue them or whatever will work to attach them securely..

I was going to find some pretty index/recipe cards, write out by hand a recipe or two... then somehow archive tape it to some pretty papers, then tape that to more paper, add ribbon, feathers, stickers, sayings...etc...

I was also going to do the same page layout for each of the 14 books coming my way...

Right now I discovered I am no mathmatical genius, and I wish I had known math (ie geometry) was a requirement for the sign in opportunity I have chosen! I have thrown the zipper/cutting board across the room, and am going to do crooked cuts... that's me a crooked genius!!

All in all I cant wait, and I talked to dh when he saw the mess I made as I attempted 2 different ideas... these books are going to be filled with so much love and friendship, and good wishes... I also want to offer my thanks to all!!
