mailing a package to baylake tower

i will getting to baylake tower on February 19
i want to mail my son's formula to the hotel so it is there when i get there
cause my sons formula is from the pharmacy
so i cant get in the stores down there
i really dont want to take it on the plane cause i dont know how the tsa will deal with it since it in cans
what is the best way to ship the item & what address do i send it to

The shipment will go to the business center, and there is a small fee for this.

so if i put my name & reservation number on it will it go right to the hotel
or does it go to a warehouse first

Just a friendly tip, make you pack enough with you for a day or two. Don't rely on it being there for you right when you check in. I had a gift basket sent to Bay Lake Tower last year, from the Disney Florist, and it took them a day to find it and have it delivered.

Well, if you use a reliable shipping method it shouldn't get lost. Your package may get delayed if there's a weather issue but it shouldn't get lost. Is this formula not available in supermarkets?

I would Fed Ex or UPS it and it will get to the resort. Once it gets to a resort, maybe calling them and having them locate it....keep it in a secure place until you get there.

We have shipped items to BLT in the past without any problem. Once it was even already in the room, but don't count on it. We did ship our box a couple days early to make sure it was there and they held it until our arrival because our reservation number was on the outside. Be sure not to use a cheap box like something from WalMart, it can, and will, get bounced around.

My ds was on Elecare and then Neocate so I know the fear of being without a prescription only formula. I would *highly* suggest you take it on the plane. We have packed formula in suitcases before, as well as carried some onboard with no issues at all. I had a doctor's note ready to show but never needed it. We have had packages lost that we shipped to the resort. Thankfully it was items that could be purchased at the resort (the manager at POR even went and bought some of it for us!).

Anyways, no way would I trust the formula being shipped there. Especially with BLT. All their packages arrive at CR, which is a conference resort, and just increases the risk that they may not be able to locate it b/c of the volume of packages they have arriving.

It's a prescription formula, not available in supermarkets etc

If you ship a package to BLT, it goes to one place: the Business Center at the Contemporary. they're not going to pull a package and put it someplace else if a guest calls because they already have a process in place.

OP, once the package arrives, you'll have to go to the Business Center during their operating hours (which I believe is 9-5) and pick up your package. They also charge an extra fee for having a package delivered there, so be prepared to pay that as well. If I recall correctly, you need to pay the fee in cash, you can't charge it to your room, so make sure you have cash on you. Also keep in mind that the Business Center at the Contemporary is in the convention area of the hotel, and it's quite a hike from BLT. I'd allow at least 30 minutes to make the round trip.

We just had a package shipped to us and we were able to pay the extra fee using our magic band and had it charged to our room. We were staying at BLT.
